Today there are lots of people who are crazy about replica luxury watches. This nascent interest in replica luxury watches can be explained only by gauging into the human affair with things which are attractive, costly and rare. The doting after watches is as old as the beginning of the watches. Indeed, they were available only in a trickle to the kings, queens, popes and other rich as well as nobles. In those days they were prohibitively costly as each watch was made in a workshop by individual watch makers and a few people who were trying to learn the craft as an apprentice. Since the clientele of the ancient watches were royalty they were made with all kinds of ornate decorations in diamond and gold.

As years passed technology found newer ways of making watches at an affordable cost. In modern times with the introduction of mass production and the use of quartz movement watches became unbelievably low priced. Watches are available today for a price as low as five dollars. This is indeed the miracle of technology. However, watch making in the traditional way, using mechanical movements have been made in many parts of the world especially in Switzerland. They were more like artists working on a craft and hence extremely rare. Now everyone knows that all artifacts are costly compared to machine made products. This principle is operational in portrait painting. A camera can make a perfect copy of a person. However, the portrait of a person painted by an artist is of greater value in the long run. This is the triumph of art over technology.

Many watches, because they approached watch making as art, because they had celebrity users in the past and because of their excellent craftsmanship has become legendary. There is insatiable craving in man to be associated with legendary things like watches of great fame and glory. Patek Philippe, Omega, Rolex, Hublot, Vacheron Constantin, Zenith are only a few in this impressive galore. These watches are too costly and many people look for practical alternatives in the form of replica watches. They come with the same attractive exterior and inner strength in the machinery. Dealers like ReplicaExpert.Us are excellent suppliers of these high-end replica watches.

The human psychology of finding awe in the relics of yesterday’s significant events is the raison de’etre of the celebrated Romain Jerome watches. Though the watches themselves work on material salvaged from legend and lore the information we have of the watch company is somewhat scanty. We know that they are produced by a Swiss jeweler and the name of the chief executive is Yvan Arpa. Next to these it is difficult to ferret out any information on the celebrated Romain Jerome. The watches themselves are more important than the makers seem to be ethos of the company and hence the company maintains a low profile keeping the watches in the vanguard.

The timepieces are made of the DNA of famous legends. The events of the past are the inspiration and relics from the past are employed in the watch making that give life to the Romain Jerome watch as you are draping yourself with a legend.

The Titanic DNA watch is made of the salvaged wreck of the ill fated ship that sank in 1912. Romain Jerome is evoking the respect due to a relic through this series. The bezel is made of the steel brought up from a depth of 3840 meters. The hands of the watch are visual echoes of the anchor of the ship. The dial’s deep black hue is due to the use of coal from the wreck by a special process. The watches are produced in limited edition of 2012 to mark the 100th anniversary of its ill-fated first journey.

The moon Dust DNA watches employ the authentic elements of man’s space odyssey and the landing of the moon. The limited edition of 1969 watches work out many moon themes and material related to moon and space journey. Moon dust is used in the crafting of the dial. The steel of the case is made incorporating material from Apollo XI spacecraft and carbon fibers. The hands of the watch create visual impact of the solar panels of the space craft.

Romain Jerome watches have been somewhat controversial. These have fermented discussion on the brand and aided its popularity among watch enthusiasts.

In 2007, at the WPHH, the renowned watchmaker Pierre Kunz officially unveiled its remarkable retrograde mechanical watch, named Infinity Looping. This timekeeper owes its name to the movements performed by a single hand in order to indicate the hours and minutes. It is attainable due to a cycloid hour hand, which travels along a scale that will make you think of a child’s Spirograph.

Although this watch is a bit difficult to read at the beginning, it is surely a true feast for the eyes.

No matter how appealing the Infinity Looping watch is, its name is misleading the English speaking audience. The point is that the Americans, for example, may perceive “looping” as “loopy”, which will definitely prevent watch enthusiasts from taking this timepiece seriously: these words seem to be similar, yet have different meanings. In Europe, however, this term stands for a part of a roller coaster that takes the riders upside down.

Therefore, Pierre Kunz’s U.S. sales manager Edward Suhyda found a creative solution to avoid misunderstanding mentioned and to attract the best possible attention of American watch lovers. Since Mr. Suhyda regarded this incredible timepiece as “insane”, he decided to bestow it with the name of “Insanity”. Thus, the U.S. market received an exceptional watch with the name, specially invented with this area in mind.

The Pierre Kunz Insanity watch is offered in a special box, also created by Suhyda. It is proposed with a straight jacket. Once the owner opens it, he will discover the infinitely looping watch, placed within a padded cell.

Offered in any number of color combinations, the Pierre Kunz watch employs a 44 mm stainless steel or blackened steel case.

At SIHH 2010, JeanRichard has unveiled its novel model – the Chronoscope MV Agusta Brutale America watch. The timepiece will be available in a limited number of 290 pieces.

The JeanRichard watch has been inspired by the brand’s partnership with the MV Agusta motorbike team taking up the challenge of breaking Bonneville Salt Flats speed trial record.

The partnership between the watchmaker and the famous motorbike manufacturer MV Agusta was born in 2007. Now, JeanRichard is proud to present its new powerful timepiece inspired by the signature features of the Brutale motorbike.

The Chronoscope MV Agusta Brutale America watch reflects the most complicated production processes, along with thorough attention to detail.

The stainless steel case of the new JeanRichard watch, 43 mm in diameter, is covered completely in vulcanized rubber, while the bezel, pushers and case-back are crafted in black PVD-coated titanium and the crown is crafted in titanium. The design of the pushers makes them fit the case shape, so that the timepiece provides extreme comfort of wearing.

The tinted sapphire case-back is secured with 4 screws. The timepiece is 100-meter water-resistant.

The opaline powdered effect stamped dial is clearly inspired by the design of a motorcycle wheel rim. The dial reflects the visual idea of depth with its raised elements, also suggested by the sporty look of the bike’s dashboard. The black hands are coated with luminescent material. The dial is shielded by a convex, anti-reflective sapphire crystal.

The small seconds are featured by a rotating disc with Arabic numerals. The tachymeter for measuring speed further enhances the bold design of the watch.

The JeanRichard Chronoscope MV Agusta Brutale America watch accommodates the brand’s in-house manufactured self-winding mechanical movement – JR1000. Beating at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour, the movement offers a 48-hour power reserve. The movement is visible through the tinted sapphire case-back showing the MV Agusta logo.

The new JeanRichard watch,  is secured to the wrist on a calfskin strap, featuring white stitching and equipped with a black PVD-coated satin-finished steel folding buckle.

It is with great pleasure that George Daniels and Roger Smith announce a new collaboration for 2010, celebrating 35 years of the Daniels co-axial escapement, with the creation of a new series of Daniels’ wristwatches. These limited edition timepieces will utilise a new English co-axial calibre created by Dr. Daniels and will be executed by Roger Smith using combined workshop facilities, making them direct extensions of this great horological master’s creative concepts.

The Daniels name is well known to watch collectors and serious connoisseurs of horology everywhere as a legendary pioneer. In the 1970’s his single-handed revival of the hand made mechanical watch, at a time when quartz watches were de rigueur, was historic. Even in the 21st century, with the advent and popularity of large numbers of mechanical, mass-produced watches, his ideas and standpoints are as poignant and applicable as ever.

Adding to this already exceptional background, he is the author and co-author of several major horological treatises, creator of a series of unique pocket and wristwatch designs and inventor of the first truly new luxury watch escapement of the 20th century. Without question, Daniels’ horological efforts encompass several lifetimes of achievement. Recognised as a master watchmaker, he has been awarded a C.B.E. in the 2010 Queen’s New Year’s Honours list for his services to horology.

The collaboration between these two men is a natural one, due to the fact that Roger Smith was the only apprentice of George Daniels. Already long established as an independent watchmaker of renown in the same tradition as Dr. Daniels, Roger Smith is able to understand the concepts, principles and designs of Daniels’ visionary creations like no other, having studied and worked with him closely through the course of many years on the Isle of Man. It is for this reason that George Daniels is pleased to entrust the execution of his designs and ideas for this new series of watches to the Roger W. Smith workshop.
