Chopard is proud to be once again partner of the Ennstal-Classic in 2010. This involvement is sign of Chopard’s relationship with the world of classic cars and its profound respect for sporting excellence driven by passion and precision. Chopard knows that the mechanics of a car and a watch are quite similar. The play of the pistons or that of the hands, the only difference is the dimension. Therefore Chopard is launching an exclusive chronograph available in two limited and numbered editions (20 in stainless steel and 5 in 18-carat rose gold): the Ennstal-Classic watch 2010.
The case is water-resistant to 100 metres and fitted with a bezel bearing a tachometer scale, as well as a screw-lock crown and integrated pushers controlling the chronograph functions.
The Ennstal Classic 2010 is equally impeccable from a technical standpoint. Its mechanical self-winding movement beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hertz). Chronometer-certified by the COSC, it features a 46-hour power reserve which drives the hour, minute, date, small seconds functions, as well as the chronograph and its central seconds hand, along with 30-minute and 12-hour counters. It is also equipped with a stop seconds mechanism enabling time-setting to the nearest second
